How old are you?
too old 35
For how long have you been playing World of Warcraft?
waaay too long. I think I got my Hand of A'dal like 10 years ago and I was already been playing for quite some time then. 11-12 years-ish? 756 days /played accross all chars
Do you have a stable internet connection?
Yeah, no sudden DC's in a middle of the fight. I'm usually just faking it when things don't go all too well (although I do have a lot of patience though)
Do you have discord and a headset with mic?
I do indeed and I'm actively using it. Playing with no banter is so boring And nothing like hearing "DISPELZ FFS OMG <enter your name here>" during an encounter
Do you fully understand and can speak English?
yeah, and german and russian and czech and mandarin. I tend to stick to english though. 接受这个申请!
Armory link:
I will probably have equipped stufff for M+, I use slightly different set of gear for raids
Warcraft logs link:
there aren't many logs, and I would argue they're not really a representative of my skill and potential, but I do upload new ones after each m+ or raid (when I actually remember to turn on the logging)
Some of them don't have massive numbers, but I do try to observe mechanics instead of padding meters
OS?
win 10 (bring the xp back :S )
Do you use pre pot, second pot, food and flask for each pull?
Ofc! I dont get how some people can bear the fact they could play/perform better but choose not to (enchants, gems, pots flasks etc). I even sometimes use pots on my healer as it gives about 10% more hp and obviously benefits the strenght of my spells.
What do you expect from us?
Lots of love! But mainly a steady roster consisting of people who are keen to progress and optimize their characters.
I've already done bits and pieces with some guys in the guild, so far I'm really happy with what I've seen. (I also hope it works the other way around lol )
What do you think we expect from you?
This is the part where I have to convince you I'm worth considering, right? Jesus, I'm so bad at this /cower
I've only returned to WoW after a long break (end of April), missed everything in legion before then. Until the end of WoD, I used to raid progress on the highest level and cleared everything, but you've probably read that milion times from every applicant!
lets start with play time. I'm very active player. my characters combined, I have over 750 DAYS /played (253 on priest). And I dont mean some casual roleplaying in Goldshire tavern (I'm so sorry, I just cant think of Horde alternative ). Always up to some dungeons, raids, farming that little piece of loot to improve my character, sometimes helping guildies, but this shit I admittedly do if there's something to gain from that, mainly an emotional leverage or chance at rolling for that trinket IF it drops (it never does!)
Seasoned raider. Sure, if you look at progress in current content, I'm a joke, no arguing there, no one in their right minds would think I'll make an immediate and valuable contribution to the current roaster. Even though I really am good at healing while staying alive myself :DD What I'm hoping for really, since I've missed the train this Xpac, is to be considered for BfA. I am fairly confident that given a chance, I can win your hearts and minds (mostly loot though!) <--jk This feeling of belonging to a group of like-minded people (in terms of in-game goals ofc!!!! what???) and this sense of accomplishment when the boss is falling down dead, like a dick after ... erm... I know there's quite a number of ladies in this guild so I'll keep it civil, but you get the idea! that shit is priceless.
I perform well under pressure and have patience (mythic Garrosh kill took us about 260 wipes, M Archimonde about 30 more than that). I do sometimes bitch about melees dying to stupid shit on the floor in the healing channel, but hey, if that's you, you'll never know XDD
Overall gearwise, trinkets and xp past 5 mythic bosses in Antorus there is a massive space for improvement, but I promise you I'm not terrible at all! If you do find a free space on the bench while entertaining the possibility of giving me a chance to compete for a spot in the upcoming expansion, I believe I can make a difference. Not even mentioning posting an extatic selfie while sucking on a few brown sticky fingers and a jar of Nutella!
I also have a mage that actually has more gear and progress then this char, but I enjoy playing priest more. If I get accepted here, I will move it to kazzak as well, but here's a peek:
I've done pathfinder and rep grinds on it, at the time it made more sense because can you imagine smiting mobs to death one by one
Summarize shortly the most important talents you have specialized into and how can you change them to adjust for the fight?
I use a bit different talents in raids and different in M+ but fair enough
There's 7 tiers so I'll just write number of tier and the choice
HOLY:
1. Enlightenment for raids (more mp5) and Trail of Light for M+
2. feather for raids, Angel's mercy for m+
3 Cosmic ripple
4 Censure (nothing like a good stun)
5 Binding heal, any time
6 Benediction, Halo is situational, not always the best choice, especially if there is a danger of breaking a cc etc. Star is also kinda alright, on stacked fights like Vari or Argus
7 Salvation. I dont get how you'd chose another. basically cast and go afk kinda button
Disc:
1 Castigation in raids, Schism in dungeons
2 Fearther
3 Shield discipline or Solace. Mana returns from mindbender arent that great at all in comparison
4 useless for raids or at the very best situational talents, Shining force for m+
5 Contrition
6 Halo for raids, even though DS is ok as well. PtW for dungeons
7 Luminous Barrier is nice, but there are arguments Evangelism is just as good (I prefer the mass bubbles though)
Does DPS/HPS matter a lot to you?
I know the purpose of this question And yeah, it's nice to have massive numbers for both, more the merrier. As long as it's not fucking padding Like what's the point of doing milions of dps if that one add that's supposed to die in 3 seconds isn't dying and wipes the raid. Also, letting the tank or person with debuff die while spamming AoE heals on the raid isn't great either.
Do you stand in the fire?
Haha, does any1 say yes to this while seriously applying? XD
Well I really do try not to. I hate spawning that white angel of fail upon dying from shit. So humiliating, every1 knows it's you! lol so yeah, I really try not to. but hey, have a look yourself:
some of my historical frapses Theo is in one of them lol
Lei Shen ( 雷 (lei) - thunder, 神 (Shen) - god ) XDD
ogre place last boss fail compilation:
Mythic Garrosh kill
If you actually read most of this, many thanks for reading <3 (I never really bothered while reading an app in my guilds, just looked at armory and reasons for leaving previous guild! I'm really hoping for my sake you're not like me LOL )
All the best
